Pioneer Families

It is our intention to eventually offer a database facilitating the work of genealogists and other interested family historians. Meanwhile, this page will advise readers about local pioneer families, list available genealogy facilitators and allow researchers to share their findings. For the purposes of this project, pioneer families will be defined as those who resided in the Thorp area (as defined by the current Thorp School District) between 1850 and 1910. However, we seek to facilitate genealogical research relating to the entire Kittitas County so please feel to enter your family name in the form below, even if your family does not meet the definition of a pioneer family.
